What is Diskograf?
Learn what Diskograf covers and how you can help maintain it.
Diskograf is a public archive of Malaysian songs and the people who make them. You can use it to find songs, artists, credits, labels and genres in one place.
The archive
Song pages bring together release details, artwork, video links, lyrics when available, genres, labels and credits.
The community maintains the archive. Members add songs, fix existing records and add credits. Administrators review new songs before they become public.
Ways to help
- Add a missing song with Add Song in the site header.
- Fix a published song with Suggest an edit in its Contributors area.
- Add your own work with Claim credit on the song page.
- Keep your public details current from Edit profile in your account menu.
Public and pending records
Published songs and profiles are readable without an account.
New songs normally wait for review. You can see your pending songs from your account menu under Manage contributions. Pending songs are not part of the public catalogue yet.
Your public profile can show your name, username, contribution history and claimed artist. Private account data is not part of the public catalogue.
Published is the important status
Saving a song does not always make it public. New songs become part of the public archive after an administrator publishes them.
